Canadian teams score silver medal at the ICPC WF for the first time in 20 years

This year, 46th and 47th ICPC World Finals were held simultaneously in Luxor, Egypt from April 14 to 19. At the 46th World Finals, Canada was represented by teams from the University of Waterloo (Wen Yuen Pang, Chris Trevisan, Marian Dietz) and the University of Alberta (Ian DeHaan, Jiacheng Wu, Weiying Chen) who got 18th and 97th place globally.

At the 47th World Finals, Canada was represented by teams from the University of Waterloo (Ramazan Rakhmatullin, Kevin Wan, Andrew Tang) and the University of Toronto (Matthew Agar, Anthony Fetelya, Zhenyuan Xiang) who got 8th and 51th place globally. University of Waterloo received silver medal, marking the best result for Canadian teams at the ICPC World Finals since 2005. Congratulations to all participants and their coaches!
